The true problem of the departures comes with the distance of the separation and the time until the next meet up. With your neighbors you get a chance to have a new feeling almost every day. The sum, the average of those moments are easier to mold, to take care. When there is a sea or a desert between the people that gets separated and you only have a handful of chances a year, each moments weight is too big, too important. And there comes the fear, the doubts or the anxiety. The sum of the moments too scarce. The averages need decades. Each mistake counts too much.
